The Speakers have exchanged written questions concerning the qualifications, institutional independence, and readiness of the seven members of the published Executive Monitor candidate pool. Each Speaker has held consultations with members of the pool. These are preparatory consultations under §9.3, not a nomination.
The offices agree that a candidate's views on the current government's policies are not a condition of pool eligibility. They have not agreed on a name for joint submission. Neither office's consultation papers are to be represented as the position of the other.
Timing and continuity
The precise expiration of incumbent Reya Solt's term has not been established in this notice. The sixty-day vacancy fallback in §9.3 is measured from a vacancy, not from publication of the roster or commencement of consultations. If a vacancy occurs without a confirmed successor, the acting mechanism in §9.1.d applies by constitutional operation. This filing does not declare a vacancy or invoke a lottery.
