The Elections Panel publishes the certified Executive Monitor candidate pool as it stands at this filing and records that the nomination for the office is open. The Executive Monitor General is nominated jointly by the Assembly Speaker and the Senate Speaker from the pool maintained by the Panel (§9.3). The nominee is confirmed by national popular vote at the next federal electoral period, administered by the Panel; §9.3 requires that timing ensure seamless succession.

The incumbent serves a ten-year non-renewable term and continues to hold the office until that term concludes (§9.1, §9.1.d). A person confirmed to a full Monitor General term is not eligible to enter any Monitor General pool (§9.3); the incumbent does not appear on the roster.

The Executive Monitor pool numbers seven eligible members. The constitutional minimum is five (§9.8(4)); the minimum is met. Eligibility was applied on the objective criteria of §9.8(6) only. The pool is subject to audit jointly by the Legislative Monitor and the Judicial Monitor (§9.3, §9.8(2)).

The certified roster has been delivered to the Assembly Speaker, Marit Hosk, and the Senate Speaker, Lucan Brandt. This filing opens the announced nomination process; the constitutional sixty-day fallback in §9.3 is measured from a vacancy, not from roster publication. Where the Speakers fail to nominate jointly within the period §9.3 provides, the JMC selects a nominee by public lottery from the eligible pool. Judicial Monitor audit findings on the nominee’s disclosure record are published to the NRS before the confirmation vote (§9.3).

The close of the window will be recorded in the Panel’s scheduling notice for the confirmation vote.
