The Department files completion certificates for the second scheduled group of drinking-water laboratory instruments under the calibration award. The certificates record calibration, verification and return to routine service.

Continuity

Participating laboratories report that routine sample intake remained available during the service period. Where a scheduled test could not be completed locally, the sample was transferred under the existing chain-of-custody procedure.

Further instruments remain on the staggered schedule. This return applies only to the second group and does not close the service award.
