The Elections Panel has opened a public index for written questions submitted to declared candidates for Legat Consul and for voluntary written responses supplied for publication. Entries will identify the submitter, candidate addressed and filing status. A candidate's decision not to respond will be recorded as such, without inference.
The register is a public-reference service. It is not a qualification hearing, a debate invitation or a determination of the accuracy of campaign statements. The four previously recorded declarations remain under the separate qualification review announced in NRS-Y14-0014.
No ballot order, election date, candidate approval or campaign-finance decision is established by this notice.
